Ruralco Property Kilmore’s Jeanette Laffan has been named a finalist in the 2016 Australian Livestock & Property Agents Association (ALPA) & Fairfax Agricultural Media Agency Award.
The award recognizes excellence in innovative marketing, customer service, sales results, ethics and professionalism.
The award was inaugurated in 2005 by ALPA and Rural Press Limited, following the untimely death of Mr Mike Nixon. In recognition of Mike’s involvement with the agency industry, the award was originally incepted to reward excellence in livestock marketing, but has evolved to encompass all facets of agency marketing, including livestock, property, wool, merchandise, agronomy and insurance.
The award is open to agents across Australia who have been working in any of these industries for less than 10 years.
“Jeanette has achieved outstanding sales results in recent times, finishing as the highest performing Victorian Ruralco agent for the 14/15 financial year, in the top 5 Ruralco agents nationally and winning a Diamond Sales Award at the 2015 National Ruralco Property Awards,” said Michael Everard, State Manager Rodwells Ruralco Property.
“She has established a strong reputation for excellence in customer service, integrity and sales results and is passionate about her long-term career in the real estate industry. On behalf of everyone at Rodwells and Ruralco Property we wish her all the best at the finals.”
Final judging of the 2016 ALPA & Fairfax Agricultural Media Agency Award will take place in Sydney on October 21, with the national winner receiving a fully paid trip to the 2017 Calgary Stampede in Canada.
